University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire AmeriCorps ECLIPSE
ECLIPSE is an AmeriCorps program that focuses on early childhood literacy in Eau Claire and Altoona. Educational focus areas include language, emergent reading & writing, socialization, and interaction. ECLIPSE differentiates from other literacy programs because we work from a one-on-one model tailored to individual needs, preparing each child for lifelong learning, while also embracing the different paces at which children learn to foster continual growth in education.
Family Resource Center
We serve parents of young children in Eau Claire and Dunn Counties, with Play 'N Learn playgroups, Parents-As-Teachers home visiting, Parent Cafes, the Positive Parenting Program ('Triple P') and other opportunities to learn, connect, and grow! Our mission is to build on families' strengths with prevention, education, support and in collaboration with other community resources.
L.E. Phillips Memorial Public Library
The library promotes lifelong learning, creates collaborative spaces, and supports open access to diverse materials and resources to enhance the quality of life in the community.

River Source Family Center
River Source Family Center is the family resource center for Chippewa County, providing support, education, and resources to familiies with young children (prenatal to 5 years old). River Source Family Center offers, free of charge, parent-child activities including Play & Learns, music classes, Family Fun events, Parent Cafes, and Bright Starts SMILE home visiting program.
